Project Overview
I created this logo for the newly established Amador County Mountain Biking Club, which is an offshoot of the Amador County Trail Stewardship. The client needed the logo to look and feel like it belonged to the same logo family as the Amador County Trail Stewardship logo, while maintaining its own unique brand identity. Over the course of 6 weeks, I designed the new AMBC logo and brand guidelines.

This was my first logo draft. I provided an array of options going from more traditional (left) to sleek and modern (right).
The client wanted to move forward with the round logo from the first draft, but wanted to see what it could look like with color. I chose to go with a calming analogous color palette with greens and blues to represent the grassy hillsides, rivers, lakes, and ponds that are scattered throughout Amador County.
